An Away Message for Your Phone

Blastogo makes it easy for you to see where your friends are hanging out and can text you when a friend is nearby.

Just send a text to Blastogo with where you are and Blastogo will text if you a friend shows up nearby and help your friends find you.

Text "blast" and your full name to the number 32075.

All Blastogo texts go to 32075 (add it to your phone).

You can do everything by just sending simple texts.

Update Your Location

Text "update at" followed by where you are hanging out.

Use the common location name (what everyone calls it).

Blastogo will text you if someone you are "following" updates nearby and a follower will be able to request your location. Update whenever you are hanging out.

Follow Friends

Text "follow" and a friend's 10-digit phone number.

They will get a text saying you are now following them.

You must be "following" someone to get a text when they are nearby or to see "where" they are hanging out.

Following is mutual and you only need to do it once (just like "friending" on other websites).

Find a Friend

Text "where is" and the name of a friend.

Blastogo will text you back with their last location.
Just a first name works or use first name and last initial if you are following two people with the same name.

Text "update at" and your location
Example: "update at clemons"

Update Your Status or Details

Put a comma after your location and then your status.
Example: "update at clemons, reading on 3rd floor"

Follow a Friend

Text "follow" and a friend's phone number.
Example: "follow 5556783453"

Block a Follower

Reply "block" and their name when someone follows you to block them.
Example: "block kelly"

Text Everyone Following You

Text "blast all" and a message to everyone following you.
Example: "blast all does anyone want to see a movie tonight"

Join a Group

Text "follow" and the group name
Example: "follow mygroup"

Send a Group Message

Text "blast", the group name and your message
Example: "blast mygroup anyone want to grab dinner at 7?"

Stop Following a Group

Text "block" and the group name
Example: "block mygroup"

Silence Blastogo Until the Next Morning

Text "snooze" to stop Blastogo until tomorrow morning.
Example: "snooze"

Turn Off Blastogo Messages

Text "blastogo off" to stop receiving any / all messages
Example: "blastogo off"

Turn Blastogo Messages Back On

Text "blastogo on" to start receiving messages again.
Example: "blastogo on"
